A public share link lets someone outside your sign-in session open one document in the same viewer you use, without an account.
The URL looks like https://abacusdocs.com/s/<token>/.
Create a link
- Open the document.
- Click Share in the header.
- Create a link and copy it.
Anyone who holds the token can view:
- The original file (PDF or image).
- Sections and Transcription.
- Schema field cards, if a schema was applied.
They cannot edit cells, chat, reprocess, or create further share links. Internal warning metadata is stripped.
Revoke
Revoke the link from the same Share menu. After revoke, the token stops working.
The token is a secret. Anyone who has the URL has the grant until you revoke it. Do not put it in a public channel unless that is intentional.
Public links are a different product from Org Library and Direct Share, which stay inside your organization.
